Telegraph Avenue festival will celebrate Summer of Love anniversary
By East Bay Times

BERKELEY — Telegraph Avenue was at the center of Bay Area events that changed the country 50 years ago. One of those events, the Summer of Love, will be celebrated on April 29, when four blocks of the iconic avenue, from Bancroft Way to Dwight Way, will be closed to cars and open to art, music, political action and a far-out 1960s vibe.
